ADOPTABLE DOGS

Hannah (WA)

Hannah is a 2-year-old English Bulldog who has spina bifida.

My name is Hannah and I’m a sweet and sassy girl, what can I say, it’s called balance I have spina bifida but I am fully mobile, I don’t do more than one of two stairs though. I have chronic UTIs so these next two things are non negotiable, a good relationship with your vet. I’m almost always on an antibiotic but that antibiotic changes depending on what bacteria I have so I need a vet that is willing to look past my disability and give me the proper care I need. Secondly, you’ll have to be willing to express my bladder, this helps with my UTIs, my foster mom and dad can show you how to do this. It’s really not that hard. I have one tiny bad habit that I’m working on, sometimes I like to chew things. Foster mom has said I’ve gotten better about this as I’ve matured but I may slip up occasionally. I’ve been returned to the rescue twice so we want to make sure my next home is really my forever home

Dasher (WA)

done it in a really really long time, the mumma even trust me to be out of my bag while she’s home. I have to go in my bag while she’s gone but I really don’t mind. Now that I’ve gotten my bad habits out of the way, I’ve lived with the mumma and my 5 (yes 5) foster siblings since I was a baby and I think I’d like to try out a forever home. Maybe one that’s a little calmer than where I currently am, I’d like to be an only dog or maybe have one other sibling. I would not be a good fit for an apartment as I bark when I hear noises outside and I absolutely hate the door bell. I’m a very lovey boy who just wants someone to sit on the couch with

No-apartments

No-young kids

older kids that are comfortable around dogs ok

Tommy (CA)

Thomas ("Tommy") loves to lounge around, play with his toys and scarf down NUBZ like it's his job! (his favorite treat) we love taking him camping, he does great in a tent. He likes to play outside, but not for long before he retreats to his sofa. He has ongoing skin issues which require him to have a shot once a month, eat a special diet and have his face rolls cleaned 2X a day. Tommy likes other dogs, but he can get scared easily with sudden movements so I wouldn't suggest small children. He's a super sensitive and sweet cuddle bug who just wants to lounge around with you on your bed or sofa!

Tommy has Spina Bifida so he wears diapers lifelong but he is fully mobile. He's use to the diapering routine which will make it easy on the first time diaper dog parent. Let us walk you thru it!

Layla (AZ)

My name is Layla, I am a 6 month old English bulldog, from California living the Arizona life with my foster family, who absolutely adore me. My mama says I’m special, see, my back legs don’t work as well as they should because I have something called spina bifida, but that doesn’t stop me! Everyone I meet falls in love with me right away, so bad that mama has to fight people off sometimes. She says I’m the most beautiful girl, and beautiful girls are expensive! I like to chew my foot (ya know, the ones that don’t work so well) and I’ve already had to have one amputation and mama says I most likely will have to another here soon.
When I came to lillyspad rescue, I had a severe rash on my bottom and a really bad UTI, it took a while for my foster mama to find the right food for me, she said it was the hardest trial and error because my food has to be super tailored to my needs, who would have guessed I’m allergic to chicken and beef????, and mama says I’m still a baby so finding something was rawrffffff.

Did I tell you how much I love all the things??? I LOVE wearing my bows in my hair, and my PJAmmies, I love getting my daily spa days were foster mama gives me a pedicure, by soaking my toesies, I EVEN GET TO WEAR FANCY SOCKS.

I love people, I’ve never met a stranger, and I love all my siblings 4 legged and two.

Lincoln (WA)

Lincoln is a young guy. Soon to be neutered but we want to make sure his seizures are under control. He is on Keppra and we will continue that. This will be a lifelong medication.

He is fostering with other bulldogs, see the comments for some cute video! Stay tuned while we get to know Lincoln better!

For now, let's welcome the Moore family and Lincoln to the LPR team!

Clementine (OR)

My name is Clementine and I believe I am a princess in training. I am 2 months old and weigh a little more than 3 lbs. When I came to Lily's Pad, I weighed less than a pound. I started life a little rough. You see I have a cleft palate and may be hydrocephalus. Neither of those slow me down and and both can be managed by diet and a daily med. I'm your typical 2 month old puppy. I like to chew on things, so it will be important to give me proper chew toys to take care of that urge. I enjoy my toys, especially the ones that crinkle. I am a Frenchie and have learned to express myself with words. So far I have been contained in an x-pen because I have not had some of my shots. I enjoy playing with the resident dogs through the openings in my house. I do get to go for a walk around the backyard nightly. It is very interesting to me and I can't wait until I can walk around without being held. I have been free fed and have learned to regulate my intake. It does not bother me to leave food in my bowl and come back to it later when I am hungry. I will be looking for a home that can complete my princess training. I will need someone to teach me house manners and how to be in a home which requires some patience, but I will reward you with kisses and snuggles. I would love to have another dog to play with, but that is not necessary if you are willing to provide outlets for my energy. My foster mama says I have a lot of potential of being a great companion.

Emmie (WA)

Emmie’s journey hasn’t been easy, but her heart is as big as ever. She was adopted from Lilypad’s Rescue about three years ago, only to be returned when her family “didn’t have time” for her. Sadly, she came back malnourished at just 21 lbs—having lost all her fat and some muscle, behind on vaccines, and struggling severely with resource guarding after going without.

Thanks to the dedicated care, love, and patience of Lilypad’s Rescue and the Viking vet team , Emmie has made an incredible recovery. Now a healthy 40lbs, she’s overcome most of her resource guarding behavior and only needs to be separated at mealtimes (she can still get a little feisty with other dogs over food—work in progress!).

Emmie is a sweet, affectionate, and happy pup who lives for snuggles. Whether it’s curling up beside you for a nap, keeping you company during a movie, or tagging along for a walk, she’s always ready to join in. She’s gentle despite her size, making her a great match for a family with kids who can appreciate her loving presence.

She gets along with cats, though she will give them a playful chase—never harmful, just spirited.

Emmie does wear diapers and needs 3–4 changes a day, but she’s a perfect lady during hchanges.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s ready for any adventure—or simply a cozy night in—Emmie is your girl. She’s healthy, happy, and waiting to share her endless love with her forever family.

Java(OR)MEDHOLD

Java is a year-old micro bully and is a sweet girl with some neurological issues, that are being consulted on. She continues to show growth and coming out of her shell. She is working on potty training, stairs are scary to her, and she does like to spend time alone on blankets, she likes to chase feet and play keep away, and she is enjoying scratches. Java is waiting to see a neurology specialist, however; adoption process could start and be included on her consultations.

Hold-he is just a baby!

Sebastin

New Baby alert! And when I say baby...I mean hours old! This little guy has a cleft palate and was born near one of our tube feeding fosters so when I got the call asking if we could help I said YEP! Thank you Nicole Manriquez for stepping up for this boy! Travis Feldheger thank you for allowing shenanigans

Sebastian is a Frenchie baby boy, born on one of my fave days..Friday the 13th! This lucky boy does need some supplies so please check out our wish list and send some birthday prezzies if you can! He is also going to need some good positive vibes. While his cleft is rather mild, puppies are fragile and need lots of love and care.

Welcome to the World, Sebastian!
