The Story of Lily’s Pad Rescue

It all started with one special girl…

Some things begin on their own without a conscious decision or choice. Fate makes paths cross and a path is started. That is the case with Lily’s Pad Rescue. On February 6, 2015 Mama and DaddyPad (then known just as Rachel and Ken) adopted Lilypad. Her name prior to that day was LuLu. Lil was a 15 week old English Bulldog with Spina Bifida and as a result she was fully incontinent and had to wear diapers inside. The space she snuggled into in Rachel and Ken’s hearts opened the door to many more to come and the birth of Lily’s Pad Rescue.

Unfortunately, Lilypad’s life was not meant to be long, we sadly lost her on September 28, 2018 to chronic kidney disease, but her impact on the world will last forever through LPR and the lives she touched.
